DevGAMM is a great place to share your experience with hundreds of game industry professionals. We are looking for non-commercial talks: instead of promoting or speaking about your company, we want you to dive into a case study or lesson.

Deadline for submissions is September 23rd.

Session Topic Ideas

Right after Moscow event we ran a poll to find out which topics should be discussed at future DevGAMMs. We analyzed your answers and picked out the most common ideas.

Art Track

Every DevGAMM we choose one particular topic to be covered in depth from different angles. We had Unity, Audio and Narrative Tracks before. In Minsk we are planning to gather experts on Art and Animation.

The list of topics for this track include (but not limited to):

  • 2D, 3D (characters, weapons, environment, maps, lighting, icons, GUI, etc.)
  • Animation (different types, 2D, 3D, special effects, motion design)
  • Management (hiring, education, technical specification, pipeline, project management, spending reduction)
  • For artists (self-education, multi- (single-) discipline, teamwork)
  • Visual Style
  • Pixel art
  • VR content

Business Track

Held in a separate Blue Hall for 2 days straight Business Track will be able to incorporate more than 30 sessions on topics determined by YOU.

To get into this Track with any topic, you just need a Premium Ticket.

  • Submit your session title during registration
  • Get guaranteed 20-min speaking slot in Business Track
  • Wait for speaker coordinator to send you information about available time slot.
  • Show up and tell your story!

All Business Track sessions will be added to the program automatically on “first come – first served basis”.

Who is this for?

For example, sessions about advertising, promotion, traffic, user acquisition have a low chance of getting into the main DevGAMM program. If you have one of those, just buy Premium Ticket and you’re in!

There is NO DEADLINE but tickets are limited to 32. You can even buy this ticket on November 9th, if there are slots available, you’ll get in!

Who can submit the session proposal?

Submissions are open for anyone who has substantial knowledge and expertise in the abovementioned topics.

What is the deadline for submissions?

Submissions will close on September 23nd.

How to submit the session proposal?

When will I find out if I have been accepted to speak?

Decision letters to be sent a week after the submissions for a certain event are closed. In some cases sessions are accepted during the submission period. You’ll be notified by Speaker Coordinator.

Can I get a sponsored session at DevGAMM?

There are no Sponsored Sessions in main DevGAMM program. But you can always buy a Premium Ticket to get a guaranteed speaking slot.

How sessions are selected?

All topics are thoroughly reviewed by DevGAMM content committee. The final selection is determined by relevancy and popularity of a topic, the available number of topics per event, and how many abstracts a speaker/company has already been selected for.

What will I receive as a speaker?

Selected speakers receive a special Speaker Badge which grants full access to all DevGAMM activities and opportunities for press interview. Also, speaker gets extra visibility for him\her and the company in pre-event promotion on the website, DevGAMM blog, social media, event app and conference brochure.

When will accepted session proposals become public on devgamm.com?

Proposals are posted as soon as the submission is accepted and confirmed.

What are the technical specifications for my session?

You will receive full information on technical  equipment  from your Speaker Coordinator a month before the event.

Is there a template for slide presentations?

Yes, you will receive it together with Speaker Guidelines as soon as you are accepted as a speaker.

Will sessions be recorded?

All Sessions will be VIDEO recorded and made available free on DevGAMM Youtube channel following the event.

How can I increase pre-conference buzz about my session?

We encourage you to shoot a short 15 to 30 sec videos with your camera or phone about the session for DevGAMM media channels. It’s also great to share your session announcement on social media with #DevGAMM hashtag or tagging @DevGAMM.
