Zacariah Litton will give a talk on ‘Cross-platform deveopment: optimization and automation (based on Batman: The Telltale Series)’. This is going to be a personal experience story of Telltale company, an American independent video game developer and publisher. Zac will reveal some practical steps in building out the levels of games release automation. This talk will dive into the philosophy, automation, tools, and process which makes this possible. The session will be centered around Batman: The Telltale Series, an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure.
The company releases a new gaming episode of franchises adaptations on a regular basis for every major platform. But it is a huge amount of work. Therefore they use ‘Telltale Tool’ which is a multi-platform downloadable game development system. Before joining Telltale in 2011, he worked at independent studies developing on console, mobile, and desktop.
