DevGAMM Minsk 2018 Program Announced

On November 15-16 over 2,000 industry professionals will gather at DevGAMM Minsk 2018. All attendees can expect not only new formats but also over 60 sessions from stellar speakers.

Let us tell the whole story. There will be 7 halls with talks dedicated to the variety of topics with valuable insights into the game creation process.

Red Hall, Orange Hall, and Green Hall will have simultaneous translation into English.

Get ready to learn from our top-speakers:

  • Przemyslaw Solski, Senior Game Designer, 11 bit Studios, in his session based on Frostpunk: The Fall of Winterhome, is going to tell how to make a scenario for city builder game.
  • Steve Filby, Managing Director, IndieCatapult / Motion Twin will touch on the way they crafted the marketing strategy for Dead Cells and sold over 1M copies since launch.
  • Rose Thomas, Level Designer, King, is going to give an overview of what has kept Pet Rescue Saga players so engaged over the years, and how much has it changed over the years.
  • Ari Pulkkinen from AriTunes will share the insights on how to create music for mobile or AAA games. He is the author of the soundtracks for Angry Birds, Nex Machina, Resogun, Alienation and lots of other games.

Moreover, you will be able to attend sessions from the representatives of Perfect World, NetEase, Google, Unreal Engine, Snapchat, Unity, Innova, Gameloft, Mail.ru Group, Sperasoft, Nordcurrent, VK.com, Pixonic, 1C Game Studios and other companies.

This year’s program has a lot of sessions dedicated to art, sound design and technology solutions. There are also talks for indie developers, game designers, product managers, programmers and producers. Workshops, discussion panels, fireside chats, Q&A with platforms, closed meetings with iOS experts and more talks to choose from!

Business Track

All attendees with BUSINESS badges will have access to Business Track that will be held in Green Hall (also for Speakers and Media badge holders). You can expect a wide range of topics. For instance, Maria Essig (AR/VR, Google), will give an overview of mobile AR gaming trends and insights from Google first ARCore Game Jam. Samuel Beavan (Snapchat) will share the experience, based on Snapchat, on how marketers should use tools to grow and communicate with their consumers in order to increase app installs and revenue. Within this track, our speakers are going to bring up the subject of Esport analytics, PR with a $0 Budget, open economy on Blockchain, release of in-game event with partners and much more.

Let’s highlight our new format – ‘DevGAMM Roundtables’ which will be held on November 16 from 4 pm until 5:30 pm in Green Hall. We are preparing a closed format for Business badge holders. You can chat and exchange the experience with other participants. Expect a variety of hot gaming industry topics and experienced moderators.
