WHAT IS DEVGAMM AWARDS?
DevGAMM Awards is a prestigious competition for indie developers and small studios. With a prize pool of $100,000 in real cash and additional nominations and prizes from sponsors, it offers a remarkable opportunity for emerging talent.
The awards feature a vast panel of judges from the gaming industry and culminate in a grand ceremony at DevGAMM Lisbon 2024 in Portugal on November 15.
JUDGES
For each edition of the competition, we invite game industry professionals to evaluate projects. These include artists, game designers and developers, producers, publishers, CEOs of gaming companies, and more.

Awarded to the games with the most innovative design solutions.
Excellence in Visual Art

Awarded to the game with the most unique art style, featuring coherent art direction and outstanding graphic solutions.
Excellence in Audio
$10,000
Awarded to the game with the best sound direction, audio clarity, dubbing, and acting.
Excellence in Narrative
$10,000
Awarded to the game with the most compelling and well-crafted storyline and storytelling.
Most Anticipated Game
$10,000
Awarded to the unreleased game with the highest potential to become a new legend in gaming.
Best Mobile Game
$10,000
Awarded to the strongest competition entry designed for mobile devices.
Best Game from Portugal
$10,000
This category, part of the DevGAMM Lisbon 2024 conference, celebrates the best game created by Portuguese developers.
Developers Choice
$3,000
All entries eligible for the competition are included in this category, and the winner is determined by the voting of all participating teams.
Community Vote
$2,000
All entries eligible for the competition are included in this category, and the winner is determined by public voting, allowing all audiences to support their favorites.
Hidden Gems
A special category highlighting games that didn’t make it to the main categories but deserve recognition and a spotlight.
