DevGAMM Game Fest 2022 took place on November 23-25, and it was the first-ever online festival from our team dedicated entirely to games and developers.
242 games from 43 countries were submitted to DevGAMM Game Fest, which is a smashing record number for our events!
Game Fest was sponsored by Archibaldi, a creative studio specializing in original music, sound design, and voice-over for video games.

Also, this edition of the Awards featured five special nominations from the sponsor companies: Unreal Engine, Nvidia, Ravenage, Versus Evil, and Gameowdio.
On November 25, the winners were announced at the exciting ceremony featuring Ilari Kuittinen (Housemarque), Fawzi Mesmar, Chelsea Blasko (Iron Galaxy), Daniel Mullins (Daniel Mullins Games), Anne-Sophie Mongeau (Eidos Montreal), and other game industry celebrities.
The winner of the Grand Prize is The Wandering Village by Stray Fawn Studio, and Lost in Play by Happy Juice Games is the Best Indie Game.
STREAMING SHOWCASE
During three festival days, online streamers were playing 176 games on Twitch and having the time of their lives! Altogether, the incredible ten bloggers scored 80+ hours of gameplay!

LIVE INTERVIEWS
49 developers of festival games were starring in three-day live broadcasts on YouTube, which had 4k+ viewers. The developers presented gameplay, told the stories behind their projects, and shared some interesting facts about the development process.
Over the three days, live broadcasts on YouTube were hosted by Christie Moulding (tinyBuild), Tom Brien (tinyBuild), Ricardo Correia (Indie X), and the folks from DevGAMM team.

The broadcasts also featured a fireside chat on success stories of collaboration between publishers and developer teams. Those Awesome Guys, Kowloon Nights, and Versus Evil joined the discussion, Borys Trienin, remote control productions, was the host.
Day 1 also brought the panel discussion on how to impress publishers and VC funds and make the most of such collaboration. Experts from Secret Mode, The Games Fund, and Ravenage joined. Katerina Burbela, remote control productions, hosted the event.

154 games from the festival and a few previous DevGAMM events were featured in the special section on STEAM. We’ve gathered over 3.5 million views of this page, and that’s just incredible!

As announced at the DevGAMM Awards, in 2023 DevGAMM team will hold its first-ever event in Poland! Meet us in the gorgeous city of Gdańsk in the very first days of spring – March 1-2.
