Browser:

  • If your game is available in the browser – you must provide a link to the web version of the game.

  • If your game is not available on Google Play, you must provide a link to the .APK file

  • VR games are accepted only with an analog build for a desktop

Consoles:

  • Games for consoles (Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) are accepted only with a build for desktop

The maximum number of games submitted to the competition is four times:

  • 3 times before the official release of the game (no more than 1 time per year)
  • 1 time after release (the game must be in release no earlier than a year relative to the submission deadline)

NB: This new rule was introduced in the summer of 2021 based on feedback from judges who have been judging the competition for 4-6 years.

Example: the game is submitted for the first time at the Spring Awards of the current year, so it is better to skip the autumn competition and apply next year when significant changes are made to the game. If the game is released, it is recommended to submit to the next competition, because according to the terms of the competition, the game cannot be in release for more than a year relative to the deadline for submitting games.

For previous winners:

  • If the game won the Grand Prize or Best Indie Game nomination, then it cannot be submitted to the competition anymore (even if it is not yet in release).
  • If the game won any other nomination, then next time it can only be submitted for those nominations in which it did not win.

Please, remember that games should be in the release for no more than a year (not earlier than 1 October, 2020).
