A friendly smile and approachable body language can work wonders. Don’t be afraid to make the first move; others are likely just as eager to connect as you are. Especially, with such a stellar lineup in Lisbon – feel free to come up to a speaker and ask extra questions!
- Break the Ice:
Starting a conversation can be as simple as complimenting someone’s work or asking about their favorite game or the project they are working on. Find common ground to kickstart discussions.
- Elevator Pitch:
Prepare a concise pitch about yourself and your work. Being able to introduce yourself makes it easier for others to remember you and your interests. If you’re looking for inspiration for your presentation, consider attending the Public Pitch where you can learn from developers on stage.
- Set Realistic Goals:
It could be as simple as meeting three new people per day. This helps you stay focused and ensures meaningful connections.
